Well, not sure about that premise but anime characters can help to make the world a better and brighter place…especially for children. Recently we were visiting Saitama and learned of a park festival going on. There were itasha and food vendors, music and dancers and loads of anime characters.
Recently Japanese municipalities and companies have really been stepping up their game on the anime scene. If corporations and prefectures can become all warm and fuzzy this is not a bad way to go.
